COOL SUGGESTION FOR OUR FORUM'S PROMOTION

You all must be knowing that,till now no website is there,who gives domains easily or at a handy rate. From last 5days of experience,i've found out that,nearly 98% of webmasters in the world go on searching for sites or forums,which gives them a free domain easily or at a good price. Now our forum has nearly 800 members,but hardly i see 5members online,why this is so? Cant we improve it? So i've a nice plan. Why not to test it once only. Ok we shall provide our members free domains for either 3$ for one year,or else 600 points. I know,its simple,but if we want early members,we need to do something different,i think. Once we get good no of members,den we'll change it to 5$ or 2000 points,etc. What you guys think?

I think,if one wont invest some,den he will never get da better output. Its my strategy. I'd invested n now i've gained it 3times more money in two months. I'm happy.

The idea you given is horrible. If you like to do some thing like that with this, you can invest on this site and own some share of this site. But you are not going to earn that much from here...

I really like to see this place as a good genuine discussion forum for webmasters, nothing else... The other stuffs are only for promotions.

Wah.. $3 for 1 year. Big big companies scared of giving domains on this amount. Then how I can. You can make 600 points from one day. So after 100 members, there will be atleast 500 domains from here and the cost for it will be $50000. Am not going to make that much from here...

So I think that is horrible one. Also if I do some thing wrong which feel like cheat for the members, this place is going to earn lot of bad reputation and that also hurt the traffic. So am not going for some thing extravagant.

If you want to make a point, it is not a good start to fabricate numbers.

The majority of webmasters know who is who in the registrar field. Those who are looking for free domains on forums are either fisrt timers, like we all were at one point, kids who have no capability to pay for domains, or spammers who need a resource from which they are not presently banned.

Because it is a forum.

Not everybody is online at the same time as you. We have jobs, school, families, and all live in different time zones; this makes it impossible for all active members to be online at the same time.

Lots of people sign-up for a forum, then become disinterested, or they just are spread too thin among forums and don't participate that regularly. Other are just spammers who sign-up with only the intention of posting an advert across several forums, and many of those do it through automated resources (spam bots).

This forum has quite a bit of activity for 800 members.

Those who are offering domains at below that cost are doing a business venture that discounts for the first year, not to mention that they are making their money off of other products; such as hosting, ssl, etc. It takes money to start up a registrar, and trying to survive just off of domain registration won't provide much if any returns.
