How to check entire site for each page's pr?
Is there a script out there that will search every page of a domain and display the pr for every page?
Don't know why but thought I'd compile a list of inner page pr on my sites....the problem is that my directory has 18 Catgories and 134 Categories..plus the 5400 links listed in it + a handful of other pages to it (submit, sitemap, contact, bla bla bla) so you could see where doing this by hand would be quite time consuming and nearly impossible to keep up on!
I would like a script that would do this manually for me and something that I could use again on the next pr update
Thanks for the help, btw if anyone thinks they could make such a script pm me and we can talk about a price

It is very difficult to find a tool like that. If so, the toll cost lot to give that service. It is very difficult to spider the full site and then determine each page's page rank.
But there are certain tools which provides PR information for list of URLs, for example, use the tool: http://www.seochat.com/seo-tools/pagerank-lookup/ which can give PR for maximum of 100 urls at a time.

But the tool is not giving any results for the big sites. I can see the results for small sites. But when I search for this site or other big sites, the tool is not responding. There is a big chance of server crash for the tool since the site getting popular. Because the scripts need higher execution for the result and large number of requests at same time from several clients make it crash...
Let see how much time the site is going to maintain the script online..

One of the forums that I administer has over 25.000 pages indexed in google. The actual number of pages is higher.
And Digitalpoint forum has over 200.000 pages indexed by google.
Don't you think that this could kill your browser/pc?

I think the script rejects those sites that having more than 10,000 links or so.. Thats why it is not working with this site or other big sites for me..

RE: How to check entire site for each page's pr?
that could be ivenms
cedik it would depend on the persons pc/browser/net
if you're runing on an outdated pc using windows 98 and on a dial up then yes this would kill your computer!
anyone on a dialup it would probably kill their net connection
as stated i'm on a cable modem so no worries here and my pc is pretty top notch...it's my one luxery lolol
though it may kill livepr's server to try and querry all that

I'm running on a pc that has Windows XP and a cable modem with 10 mbps bandwidth and that script kinda slowed down my pc when I checked my site, and my site has about 4000 pages.
But it's true, if you have a good pc, you might just handle it

RE: How to check entire site for each page's pr?
lol yeah, that sucks....it was a nice tool while it lasted
It is very difficult to crawl your full site in real time. If so, why Google queuing your addurl requests??
Even Google are doing that job with dedicated servers... So how the small site like the mentioned one can achieve.. The problem with the site is that many requests for PR at same time really take 100% of server processing and if the site is hosting on shared serer, then there is a big chance of eliminating the hosting account from the host provider. Dedicated server helps to solve the account elimination, but when the site gets more popular, it is impossible to work with different requests at same time.
