how to add a website to yahoo?plz tell

Steps to add your sites on Yahoo search engine:

• First you need an account on Yahoo!.
• Then visit the page: http://search.yahoo.com/info/submit.html
• Click the link "Submit Your Site for Free": http://submit.search.yahoo.com/free/request
• Login to your account.
• If you has an XML site map or site's feed or a text file that have the page links to your site, then enter the url points to the file on - "Submit Site Feed" field.
• Else if your site is very small and you need to index your all pages, just enter the URL of the pages you want to index by search engine on: "Submit a Website or Webpage". You can also submit your domain of the site on this field.
• The submission will leads you to a site explorer page. You can add, manage your site on that page.
• Authenticate your sites with the procedure they mentioned on there and control the indexing of your site pages.
• The site explorer tool gives you some details about the pages there indexed.
  

But till now,i dint succeed in adding my site either in Google or Yahoo... Everytime some errors occur... Dont know why.. Site is totally correct,den too,i'm facing probs.

May be your site is banned from Google.

That can also happen if your site is illegal one.

I dont think,my site is an illegal one. Just check it n say,does it contain any illegal stuffs? I'm paused to get such responses from google. Cant add my site till now. Oh god,help me.

But the site contains lots of unwanted flash movie files. They need quick player to open those files on your page. Please try to remove those.

Flash movies? No man.. Its not there in my page. I've uploaded all of it in my server n has given links there. Regarding which u r telling bro? @Iven

Do you have a sitemap? or RSS feed? Try to make or have a sitemap. go to google webmasters section:
http://www.google.com/webmasters
- add your site
- verify your site
- add the sitemap

three days later, if you have a original content, google bot will index your website.

If you make copy-paste from other websites, then google bot won't put your site to index or index them badly

in my case i came across this forum through links from Google
And iven bro illegal sites wont be rejected from Google, because lots of sites with warez, hacks and under age adult also displayed in google

Yes. I know that. But now Google started this new approach of banning sites. So be careful. They normally aiming for sites that violating their TOS. So it is very important to read their Terms Of Service.

If you are using more ad code to your site then it can be also reason of problem.

Meta tags can also a problem. Some meta tags are not SE friendly.

As i saw in some sites and directories this types of problem.

Do know about SEs but i think it can be.

Yeah it can be reason of your rejection because i faced some problem due to adsense.

If your site has adsense then you have to remove it once and after submission you can add them.

This is a new concern for me. One of our site with adsense ads is completely indexed on yahoo and on google even 100 pages of the sites are not indexed. Site's 90% traffic is from yahoo search engine.

As i remember if you will search with yahoo or google for yahoo explorer then you can find answer of your question.

With yahoo explore you have to login and then after you can add your site and site map there. There are also many option to promote your site.
