MSN Search Changed to Live
This thread is posted little later. Actually the MSN search is converted into live search before two months. I forget to mention that on here. All msn search queries now redirected to the live.Com site. Also the place of passport.com is taken by the live.com. Any way the live.com is now one of the 5 popular sites on internet.
That is a remarkable acheavement within a short range of time.

Yes..
Now every thing related to the MSN, including the hotmail and passport, is changed to live and I think it is a bad move.

you said it.. everything under MSN is now in Live.com, that means the only change is the name and the looks, well modify the browser to go to Live when you write MSN  lol.
I really thing its a good move. Microsoft needed to do something big to stand out infront of Google which is growing more rapidly than anything.
They wanted to update their mail system, search engine, and even add alot of new software and services.
If they do that with the old MSN.com it will be like you adding a new topic or category to the forum..
But if you add all those to a complete new website witha built from scratch engine, that will sure catch some eyes.

why change your name from MSN (a very well known name) to Live?
what benefit is there to that?
both are small domains...MSN is known world wide....
unless they are going to be using msn for their software website...
i mean i guess seeing how big MSN is they would want that prime domain for what they really are which is the entire MicroSoft Network
but oh well, who knows what big corp guys think...i tell you the ones that run my company are all idiots!
