What is this forum really about?

Hi all,

I am a new member and just joined. Going by the domain name my initial feelings grabbed this forum to be a knowledge imparting domain for webmasters dealing in different web dev technologies. This does not necessarily mean development based, but also others such as design, tips and tricks, general discussion on how one technology is better than the other for certain purposes, etc.

However, I found none of this true so far. Other than the actual web revenue generation threads, I have seen nothing on this forum to suggest that this really truly is a webmasters haven.

Can the administrators please assist me with this? What exactly is the nature of the forum, and what exactly do the posts have to be like on here?

This forum is providing a platform for webmasters to solve their problems on their web development process.

Also this forum helps other's by allowing their affiliate links on posts (That is not allowed by other webmaster forums ). But on posting affiliates, you also receive negatively rated posts if the program is not working. So you can find the best on as well.

If you are looking for some tricks or tutorials related to design or scripting, the this forum only have very few. This is a developing forum and expect a lot on the future from here.

The best use of this forum is for newbies. They really get every helps they wanted for their web development. But if you are looking for extreme programming skills, there are lot of other community available that only discuss in top level.

This forum is on its developing phase. We are making a new community of webmasters. Give us 4 to 5 months to make this place as a heaven for webmasters.

I am placing your post on here. But if you posted a post like this on other forums, your post surely delete from there and probably you may ban from there.

We are really appreciated every thoughts from all of our users to make this place a real heaven for webmasters. Nice thoughts expecting from you.

Thanks for your reply ivenms. Please don't get me wrong. I had no intentions of belitteling this effort. As a developer, I understand that things start small and grow into something bigger. As such, I am glad to be a part of this forum. It's just that I needed a little clearing up on this, is all.

We are really expecting users like you. You can use this place for publishing your stuff to the world and also to share some useful informations with us.

um, have you seen the Tutorials, Design & Development and Web & Your Webiste Forums just to name a few....

You know, pakiduke, even though this forum is not as rich in informations as others, at least so far, it's not bad at all.
I learned lots of stuff from this forum and on top of that it's a very nice atmosphere here. Everyone is very friendly and willing to help you. Ivenms at least seems to know some interesting things and he allready helped me a lot.
I think this is what really matters. This isn't the first forum of this kind that I joined, but it's the first one that a like

I'd have to admit, next to talkhost this would be the place i'd ask for help from...though this is a small forum and really only a handful of regulars, there's a lot of knowledge here and interesting posts to help you learn more about building/maintaining sites...

and as Cedik said people are nice here and willing to help
