A risk factor is there always with the cheating like mentioned on previous posts. Just make some good pages for your site. Then submit into search engines and wait to get the responds from the search engines. If your page content is unique and demanding, your site will find traffic from search engines.

In my country yahoo isn't used as frequent as google and my sites are so far targeted only for my country. There for, I only tried to improve my sites for google. I haven't even submited them on yahoo but I found that they were already found by the yahoo crawlers without my intervention.
From my point of view, a high ranking in yahoo doesn't worth much since there are very small chances to get visitors from a yahoo search. But if I have good yahoo ranking, will this affect in a positive way the google rankings too?

Every search engines are using their own search algorithms. But most of them are similar in functionality. Thats why you can see almost same results in big search engines (this is not true for many searches). But on the end, search algorithms are secret, so yahoo ranking may or may not affect Google ranking. I like to believe that both of them working independently on their algorithms without any linkings.

The main problem with your site is that your sites are not top level domain sites. All are free sites. Most of the free sites are spam sites. So search engines are neglecting many free site submissions.

You can.. That help you to index on Google. But free hosing servers are many times slow to respond. So go with some free hosting providers that is not much popular, but reliable.
